I just found out about this from @philliyT. Earlier this month, Jimmy Durano revealed on his Instagram that he underwent a craniotomy surgery at Desert Regional Medical Center hospital. Yesterday he gave his fans an update:

I am back in the hospital. Last Saturday I went back to ER due to some complications after the stitches were removed and my headaches were worst. on Sunday I had an unexpected surgery. I’ll be here under observation till May 1st. And down the road there is one more surgery planned depending on the recovering time and once the swelling goes down. It can take up to 4-6 months.

But you guys were amazing and even tho that was a very invasive surgery you guys made me feel ok and I’m happy to be home!!!! Thank you so much for all the care. And guys…. as I said before I am well now. At home, bed rest and recovering. Nothing to worry about. Thank for all the good prayers. Feels good to be home with the puppies and hubby’s love!! he watches over me and take care of this annoying and impatient patient ?????LOL He has a big heart ?? and a lot of patience with me. For those wondering how I am… let’s say that I hit a bump on the road. I am back in the hospital. Last Saturday I went back to ER due to some complications after the stitches were removed and my headaches were worst. on Sunday I had an unexpected surgery. I’ll be here under observation till May 1st. And down the road there is one more surgery planned depending on the recovering time and once the swelling goes down. It can take up to 4-6 months. Till then I won’t be doing any out of town gigs or appearances neither working at my local home club @chill here in Palm Springs,CA. I am thankful for all the amazing doctors who did the surgery and the great nurses taking care of me. They are true angels. Thanks to all of you sending messages asking how I am and sending good vibes and wishes for speed recovery. For this reason I’ll not be as present on social media. ?
